WE ARE HIRING: Executive Operational Excellence (Manufacturing)

• Location: Ratmalana, Sri Lanka (Candidates residing nearby are preferred)
• Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Executive Operational Excellence within the manufacturing domain. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process mapping, productivity analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with experienced supervisors and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in understanding manufacturing processes and contribute to detailed process mapping under supervision.
• Support time studies to identify process elements and assist in analyzing current operational practices.
• Observe shift handover processes, collect data, and help identify productivity gaps.
• Learn and support the execution of method studies, work-study techniques, and line balancing activities.
• Assist in identifying implementation challenges and provide support to employees during new process introductions.
• Participate in identifying process inefficiencies and offer insights to support strategy development.
• Support the organization and facilitation of continuous improvement workshops such as Kaizen.
• Assist in tracking action plans and supporting improvement recommendations.
• Contribute to developing documentation including work instructions, SOPs, and training manuals under supervision.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering (NDT or equivalent) from a recognized university or institute.
• Over 3 years of experience in Business Excellence, Operational Excellence, or Process Improvement.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles (Yellow Belt or higher preferred).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and work-study concepts (an added advantage).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
