Role Overview

We are seeking a technically strong and results-driven Senior Engineer – Enterprise Fiber Projects to lead and manage end-to-end fiber optic network deployment projects. This role focuses on project planning, contractor coordination, field execution, and ensuring timely delivery of underground and aerial fiber projects within budget, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management & Execution
  Lead and manage end-to-end fiber optic deployment projects including underground and aerial networks
  Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
  Develop project plans, schedules, and execution strategies
• Design Review & Technical Oversight
  Review network designs, drawings, and BOQs for project readiness
  Ensure technical compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements
  Support optimization of fiber routes and deployment methodologies
• Site Operations Management
  Oversee on-site activities including cable laying, installation, splicing, testing, and commissioning
  Monitor contractor performance and ensure work quality standards are met
  Conduct site inspections and progress reviews
• Stakeholder & Approval Coordination
  Coordinate with contractors, utility providers, and local authorities for permits and approvals
  Liaise with internal teams and enterprise clients regarding project progress
  Ensure smooth communication across all stakeholders
• Safety, Compliance & Reporting
  Ensure adherence to safety regulations and technical compliance requirements
  Maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates
  Identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and escalate when required

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in fiber optic network deployment
• Experience in handling permits/approvals and contractor management is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of fiber design, installation, splicing, and OTDR/testing
• Good understanding of underground and aerial network deployment
  
• Strong project planning and scheduling skills
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
• High attention to quality, deadlines, and safety standards
