About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Coordinator to support the management of licensed products and maintain strong relationships with licensors. This role will serve as a key liaison between licensors and internal teams, ensuring brand compliance, timely approvals, and successful execution of licensed product initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong coordination abilities, and a proactive approach to managing multiple projects and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and foster effective working relationships with licensors.
• Ensure company standards are met for licensed products while maintaining the integrity of each brand.
• Collaborate with licensors and internal teams to execute brand strategies effectively.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal marketing teams and licensors for product approvals.
• Coordinate licensed product projects and ensure timelines and deadlines are met.
• Manage approval processes for product concepts, artwork, packaging, instructional materials, pre-production samples, and final customer samples.
• Identify potential risks relating to licensor requirements and work with management to resolve issues promptly.
• Support contract negotiations and preparation of deal term sheets.
• Collaborate with sales and merchandising teams on sales projection objectives.
• Assist with licensor sales projection templates and product placement reporting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and project tracking records.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Experience in a licensing-related role will be a strong advantage.
• Positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Willingness and ability to work a core schedule of 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM Sri Lanka time, with flexibility during peak periods.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and accountability.
