Job Description
Position: Senior Accountant
Department: Finance & Accounting
Location: Hybrid
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Company Overview
A leading business process outsourcing organization providing services to international clients, particularly in Finance & Accounting, Mortgage Brokering, Real Estate, and Business Process Management (BPM) sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Individual, Company, and Trust Tax Returns.
- Preparation of BAS (Business Activity Statements) and IAS (Instalment Activity Statements).
- Preparation of SMSF (Self-Managed Super Fund) financial statements and annual returns.
- Manage general bookkeeping activities.
- Handle payroll processing and related accounting tasks.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting operations and reporting.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping practices.
- Hands-on experience in Australian Tax and SMSF compliance is essential.
- Experience using Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks Online.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related professional qualification.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Working Arrangements
- Early working hours:
- 04:30 AM – 01:30 PM or
- 05:30 AM – 02:30 PM
- Company-provided transport to the office.
