Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to lead advanced network operations and ensure seamless service delivery across multiple customer segments. This role involves managing a 24/7 NOC team, handling escalations, improving operational performance, and ensuring high service availability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the NOC team to deliver high-quality technical support and customer service
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex network and technical issues
- Monitor network performance and ensure timely fault resolution and service restoration
- Manage escalations across internal teams and ensure proper communication
- Maintain 24x7 operational coverage through effective roster management
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve performance
- Ensure proper documentation, ticket management, and incident reporting
- Prepare incident reports and root cause analysis (RFOs)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support network-related projects and operational enhancements
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role within telecommunications or networking environments
- Certification such as CCNP or equivalent will be an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of network operations, telecommunications, and monitoring systems
- Experience in incident management, escalation handling, and SLA management
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage technical teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a 24x7 operational environment
- High focus on customer service and operational excellence
