Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer Trade to oversee technical design, development, and optimization of trade finance solutions using CS Eximbills. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic input into product innovation and system enhancement within the IT Research & Development department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and customization of CS Eximbills modules (LCs, Guarantees, Collections, Loans).
• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate trade finance requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement through R&D initiatives.
• Mentor development teams on CS platform architecture, configuration, and integration.
• Conduct performance tuning, system upgrades, and patch management for Eximbills environments.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and internal audit standards.
• Liaise with China Systems support teams for troubleshooting and product updates.
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and change logs for internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Certifications in trade finance or CS Eximbills (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in trade finance systems.
• Proven expertise in CS Eximbills platform, including parameter-driven configuration and module integration.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance operations and SWIFT messaging standards.
• Proficiency in Java, Oracle PL/SQL, and middleware technologies.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and DevOps practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Core Competencies

• End-to-end implementation of Eximbills modules (LC, BG, Collections, Loans).
• Parameter-driven customization and workflow optimization.
• Integration with core banking systems and SWIFT interfaces.
• Trade finance domain knowledge (UCP 600, URDG, ISBP standards).
• Agile project leadership and sprint planning.
• Technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
