Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven and results-oriented Head of Sales to lead sales growth, revenue generation, pipeline development, and market expansion within the ERP and SaaS technology sector.

The selected candidate will be responsible for driving the full sales lifecycle, leading the local sales and business development team, developing strategic opportunities, managing enterprise client relationships, strengthening CRM discipline, and supporting the organization's overall commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the company's overall commercial performance within the country.
  • Drive sales pipeline development, revenue generation, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Oversee lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, negotiations, deal closures, and post-sale account growth.
  • Lead and manage the local sales and business development team.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, ownership, and target achievement.
  • Set sales goals, monitor team performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support and collaborate with global sales teams on strategic opportunities and cross-market initiatives.
  • Drive B2B engagements, enterprise sales opportunities, and large-scale solution-selling activities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through direct sales, partnerships, tenders, and strategic alliances.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Strengthen long-term business value, client engagement, and market presence.
  • Oversee CRM usage, sales reporting, pipeline updates, and data accuracy.
  • Monitor funnel health, sales forecasting, opportunity progress, and timely achievement of targets.
  • Provide direction and input into marketing strategies to improve lead generation and market penetration.
  • Support brand positioning and campaign alignment with sales priorities.
  • Work closely with product development, implementation, and client support teams.
  • Ensure sales commitments are aligned with delivery capability and customer expectations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer behavior, and industry developments.
  • Use market intelligence to support strategic sales planning and decision-making.
  • Represent the organization in client meetings, industry events, business forums, and strategic discussions.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, revenue forecasts, pipeline reviews, and management updates.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in sales processes, reporting standards, customer engagement, and team effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

  • MBA, bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification from a reputed university.
  • Professional membership or qualification in CIM or SLIM will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in sales and marketing management.
  • Proven experience in ERP, Software, or SaaS sales is required.
  • Strong exposure to sales leadership, business development, or account management.
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through negotiation and closure.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales, enterprise solution selling, and strategic account management.
  • Experience handling tenders, partnerships, and large enterprise deals will be an advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue, profitability, and market growth.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in managing, developing, and inspiring sales teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with clients, partners, internal teams, and senior decision-makers.
  • Strong networking ability with the right attitude to build company mindshare in the market.
  • Confident, highly driven, target-oriented, and accountable.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing business environment.
