About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovation-driven Technical Lead – AI & Application Development to lead the design, development, and implementation of modern technology solutions with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence, cloud-native architecture, and enterprise application development.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering technology solutions within healthcare, banking, telecom, or similar enterprise environments. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can bridge business requirements, technical architecture, and offshore engineering teams while driving innovation through practical AI adoption and modern software engineering practices.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals who possess strong AI implementation expertise, cloud engineering knowledge, and application development leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications and AI-powered solutions.
• Evaluate, select, and implement suitable AI models based on business requirements, performance objectives, and cost economics.
• Develop AI-driven decision workflows and automation solutions to support business operations.
• Guide engineering teams in leveraging advanced AI platforms, AI studios, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using modern development frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and delivery roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership during solution design reviews, architecture discussions, and project planning sessions.
• Implement and maintain secure application architectures and DevOps practices.
• Drive CI/CD adoption, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Support cloud infrastructure initiatives across Azure and containerized environments.
• Collaborate with offshore development teams to ensure successful project delivery and technical excellence.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, governance standards, and application security requirements.
• Mentor development teams and promote engineering best practices across projects.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, development methodologies, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or technology leadership roles.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise technology solutions within healthcare, banking, telecom, or similar industries.
• Hands-on experience applying AI models in real-world business workflows and decision-making processes.
• Strong understanding of AI model selection, implementation approaches, and cost optimization considerations.
• Experience working with advanced AI platforms, AI studios, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience working with Jupyter Notebooks or similar environments for AI experimentation and solution development.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment frameworks.
• Strong experience in application development using React, React Native, Spring Boot, MS SQL, and cloud-based database platforms.
• Good understanding of containerization technologies and microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of application security, infrastructure security, and Day 0/Day 1 security principles.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and confidently engage with business stakeholders and senior leadership teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) environments.
• Exposure to Verification of Benefits (VOB), Authorization Management, Medical Coding, Billing, Payment Posting, and Collections processes.
• Experience leading distributed or offshore engineering teams.
• Exposure to machine learning, generative AI, intelligent automation, and AI governance frameworks.
• Relevant cloud, AI, or development certifications will be an added advantage.
