Role Overview

The Sales Executive / Assistant Manager – Sales plays a key role in driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of the flexible packaging industry, customer needs, and technical solutions, combined with the ability to consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through new customer acquisition and effective management of existing accounts.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the food, FMCG, and related sectors.

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

  • Understand customers packaging requirements and provide timely, professional, and technically sound solutions.

  • Coordinate with internal teams such as production, technical, and R&D to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.

  • Keep customers informed of delays, challenges, or changes while offering practical solutions.

  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.

  • Analyze sales performance data and recommend improvements to sales strategies and processes.

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sales Executive or Assistant Manager within the flexible packaging industry.

  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Skills & Other Requirements

  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  • Collaborative team player with a high level of dedication, ownership, and professionalism.
