Role Overview
The Sales Executive / Assistant Manager – Sales plays a key role in driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of the flexible packaging industry, customer needs, and technical solutions, combined with the ability to consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through new customer acquisition and effective management of existing accounts.

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the food, FMCG, and related sectors.

Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

Understand customers packaging requirements and provide timely, professional, and technically sound solutions.

Coordinate with internal teams such as production, technical, and R&D to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.

Keep customers informed of delays, challenges, or changes while offering practical solutions.

Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.

Analyze sales performance data and recommend improvements to sales strategies and processes.

Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
-
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sales Executive or Assistant Manager within the flexible packaging industry.

Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Skills & Other Requirements

Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting.

Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
