Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Executive – Sales & Marketing (Air Freight) to drive air freight sales, expand the customer base, and strengthen relationships with airlines, agents, and key industry stakeholders. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with strong industry exposure and a passion for business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve pre-agreed sales and gross profit targets in line with company expectations.

• Carry out prospecting sales calls and promote air freight services to potential and existing customers.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular interaction and service follow-up.

• Take ownership of customer issues and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.

• Develop and manage agency networks, handle RFQs, negotiate rates, and convert sales leads into business volumes.

• Follow up on customer dues, manage debtor collections, and minimize disputes and bad debts.

• Represent the organization in negotiations and relationship-building with airlines, air cargo teams, ground handling agents, and other vendors.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role with an established customer base.

• Industry knowledge in air freight, freight forwarding, or logistics.

Skills & Other Requirements

• Good understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.

• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

• Good computer literacy and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, agencies, and deadlines effectively.
