Role Overview

We are looking for an Electrical / Lighting Design Engineer to support lighting design projects with strong electrical engineering expertise. The role focuses on developing technical drawings, conducting lighting calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality design outputs using BIM-based tools and industry-standard software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support lighting design with electrical engineering expertise.

  • Develop technical drawings and layouts using Revit, AutoCAD, and Dialux.

  • Coordinate with architects, lighting designers, and MEP teams.

  • Conduct lighting calculations and energy efficiency studies.

  • Assist in selecting lighting fixtures, wiring, and control systems.

  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance in all design work.

  • Support and mentor junior team members when required.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Lighting design or MEP-related certifications will be an added advantage.

  • BIM certification preferred.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering for lighting or MEP projects.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems for lighting.

  • High proficiency in BIM tools, particularly Revit.

  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD and expert-level proficiency in Dialux.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).

  • Strong coordination and teamwork abilities.
