Role Overview

We are looking for confident and energetic Guest Experience Hosts to join a premium VR Experience Centre located in Galle Fort.

This role combines front-of-house guest hosting with proactive tourist engagement. The ideal candidate will welcome visitors, manage guest experiences inside the centre, and actively engage tourists within Galle Fort to introduce the VR experience and encourage walk-in visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests visiting the VR Experience Centre.

• Provide a friendly and engaging introduction to the VR experience.

• Proactively approach and engage tourists around Galle Fort to promote the experience.

• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment within the centre.

• Assist guests in using VR equipment (training will be provided).

• Ensure guests have a smooth and memorable experience.

• Support daily operational activities and visitor management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Skills & Experience

• Strong spoken English skills (additional languages are a strong advantage).

• Confident in approaching and engaging international tourists.

• Presentable and professional in a premium customer-facing environment.

• Energetic and outgoing personality with a proactive attitude.

• Comfortable using technology and learning VR systems.

• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to encourage guest participation.

• Background in hospitality, tourism, airline services, retail sales, promotions, or customer service is highly preferred.

• University students or individuals with strong interpersonal confidence and a go-getter personality are also encouraged to apply.
