Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing to support business growth within the freight forwarding sector. The role focuses on developing new market segments, expanding business volumes, enhancing customer portfolios, and negotiating competitive rates, while sustaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new market segments through the augmentation of business development initiatives.

  • Grow market share by targeting new business segments while sustaining current business volumes.

  • Enhance the customer portfolio by focusing on high-yield cargo opportunities.

  • Obtain competitive and optimal rates from carriers to support sales objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Professional qualification in CIMA, Logistics, or related discipline or

  • Bachelors Degree from a recognized institute.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3–4 years experience, preferably in a similar capacity within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.

Preferred Skills / Other Requirements

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Market-oriented mindset with a focus on results and growth.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • High level of motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
