WE ARE HIRING: Lead Engineer Test Automation (Fixed Term Contract)

Job Overview
Were looking for an accomplished and strategic Lead Engineer Test Automation to spearhead the banks test automation initiatives across digital and core banking systems. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in automation frameworks, leadership in QA, and a strong understanding of banking platforms and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute a comprehensive QA automation strategy aligned with enterprise goals.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for frontend and backend systems.
• Ensure automation solutions are secure, performance-optimized, and compliant.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, architecture, and product teams to integrate testing into agile workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers.
• Oversee test planning, risk assessments, defect triaging, and mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate new tools and frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain documentation for test cases, coverage metrics, and automation standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, preferably in banking or regulated environments.
• Proven leadership in QA roles and large-scale automation projects.
• Expertise in Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing, DevOps, Agile methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Git, JIRA, Zephyr.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
