Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead to spearhead growth initiatives and strengthen our clients market presence across the UAE and beyond. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing strategies, building client relationships, and overseeing the complete business development cyclefrom lead generation to project acquisition and closure. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Market Development

  • Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with the companys multidisciplinary design operations.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, monitor competitor activity, and assess industry trends.
  • Utilize modern marketing and digital tools to support business expansion goals and increase brand visibility.

Client & Industry Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to enhance networking and visibility.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to manage client communications, project clarifications, and proposals.

Bid & Proposal Management

  • Lead the bid management process, including pre-qualifications (PQQs), RFP analysis, strategy formulation, and submission.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals and presentations that reflect the companys value proposition and capabilities.
  • Maintain internal documentation such as project briefs, scope matrices, and submission templates.
  • Continuously review and refine business development processes to improve efficiency and success rates.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Partner with technical and management teams to define project resources and business strategies.
  • Maintain and update proposal libraries, case studies, and marketing collateral.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across business development, technical, and operations departments.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and manage correspondence, meeting records, and documentation related to business development.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements, authority guidelines, and contractual conditions in the region.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or Engineering (Masters degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the AEC or design consultancy industry.
  • Proven track record of client acquisition, partnership building, and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for meetings, client visits, and industry events.
