Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Support & Pricing Executive Freight Forwarding to join our clients global logistics team. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling pricing requests, rate coordination, and commercial support for internal sales teams and overseas partners. This role requires a strong grasp of freight forwarding processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across global offices and carriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily pricing inquiries from global partner offices for air, sea, and land freight services.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and consolidators to obtain updated rates and verify tariff accuracy before submission.
- Support sales teams with customized rate sheets, tender pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Handle pricing requests from third-party partner networks and provide timely updates on rate validity, surcharges, and service schedules.
- Update and maintain rate and quotation databases in the companys system, ensuring data accuracy.
- Track key metrics such as quotation turnaround time, win ratio, and conversion rates, preparing weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Support SOP compliance and quality assurance for all pricing responses.
- Ensure alignment with company Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) and Compliance Policies, including anti-bribery and anti-money laundering standards.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager, Freight Operations, and Overseas Agents to ensure service excellence and timely responses to client inquiries.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- 2-4 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, or pricing coordination.
- Strong understanding of air, sea, and land freight pricing structures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, and CRM/Freight management systems.
