Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on HR Manager to lead and strengthen the organization's people strategy across multiple business units. This role focuses on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and building a strong, values-driven workplace culture within a fast-paced shipping and logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives
• Manage end-to-end recruitment including workforce planning, sourcing, and onboarding
  
• Develop, standardize, and improve HR policies and procedures across the organization
• Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling
  
• Drive performance management including appraisals, goal setting, and talent reviews
• Manage payroll coordination, attendance, leave, and HR administration processes
  
• Identify training needs and implement learning and development initiatives
• Promote a strong organizational culture aligned with values and ethics
  
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labour laws and HR governance standards
• Develop HR dashboards and reports on key metrics (headcount, turnover, performance, etc.)
  
• Support leadership in building high-performing and engaged teams

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CIPM will be an added advantage
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in HR management roles
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or service-based industries is preferred

• Proficiency in HR systems, Excel, and reporting tools
  
• Strong business acumen and leadership capabilities
