Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support artwork preparation, print-ready file creation, design review, and production coordination within an offset printing press environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing artwork files for offset printing, ensuring design accuracy, checking print specifications, supporting color management, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth print production. This role requires strong knowledge of design software, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced printing and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Artwork Preparation & Print Production

• Prepare artwork files for offset printing according to required print specifications.
• Review and check artwork files before production to ensure accuracy and print readiness.
• Ensure layouts, colours, images, fonts, and file formats are suitable for offset printing.
• Make required design corrections and adjustments before final print approval.
• Support smooth coordination between design, pre-press, and production teams.

Graphic Design & Software Handling

• Create and edit designs using professional design software.
• Work with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and CorelDRAW.
• Prepare print-ready files, layouts, packaging designs, labels, brochures, and other printing materials as required.
• Ensure all design outputs meet quality standards and client requirements.

Color Management & Quality Control

• Apply proper color management practices for offset printing.
• Check colour accuracy, image quality, resolution, bleed, margins, and print alignment.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure final printed output matches approved artwork.
• Identify potential artwork or printing issues and recommend corrective actions.

Communication & Coordination

• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and production staff when required.
• Manage artwork revisions and ensure timely completion of design tasks.
• Maintain organized files and proper version control for artwork and print materials.
• Support the team in meeting production deadlines and customer expectations.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in an offset printing, packaging, manufacturing, or print production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and CorelDRAW.
• Good knowledge of color management and print production requirements.
• Ability to prepare and review artwork files for offset printing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines.
• Creative mindset with practical knowledge of print-ready artwork preparation.
• Good organizational and file management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
