Role Overview 

We are seeking an aspiring, energetic, and competent Accountant to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, cash flow management, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning to support business growth. 

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate financial closings and reporting.
• Prepare annual budgets and daily, monthly, and annual accounts.
• Analyze profitability reports and provide financial recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, the Companies Act, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement strong internal controls and support internal and external audits.
• Conduct risk analysis, manage credit lines, and monitor debtor days.
• Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business planning.
• Review financial reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Handle banking operations, negotiate with banks and suppliers, and manage payment plans.
• Liaise with auditors, IRD, government authorities, and internal departments.
• Manage monthly projections, tax matters, and group reporting.
• Authorize payments, monitor cash flow, and ensure accurate financial documentation.
• Stay updated on financial regulations and support team development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Professional qualification in CIMA, CA, or ACCA.
• An MBA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax processes, and accounting software.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Prior experience with Oracle systems will be an added advantage.
• Experience in ERP system implementation and process development will be an advantage.
• Overall experience of at least 5+ years in the finance field.
• Strong analytical, financial reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to commit to a 2-year contract.
