Company Overview

Our client, a global leader in the FMCG industry, is looking for a talented and driven EMO Technical Manager to join their dynamic operations team. This role is pivotal in leading engineering activities, project implementation, and technical excellence at EMO sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and productivity are always at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all engineering activities and project implementation at EMO sites.
• Drive productivity, cost-saving, and technical development initiatives to support continuous improvement.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and human rights standards.
• Manage and deliver infrastructure and technical projects within set timeframes and budgets.
• Prepare EMO sites for HRRB audits and ensure corrective measures are implemented effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project approvals, technical reviews, and execution.
• Provide technical support to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability across facilities.
• Support value engineering initiatives and drive innovation to improve production processes and cost efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline).
• Minimum 10 years experience in technical or project management within the FMCG sector.
• Proven expertise in HRRB compliance, infrastructure development, and remote site management.
• Strong proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and cost estimation.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Commercial awareness and a results-driven approach to productivity improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Work Environment

• Location: Nittambuwa, Sri Lanka
• Reporting To: Regional Engineering / Operations Head
• Industry: FMCG / Manufacturing / Engineering Projects
