WE ARE HIRING: Management Accounting Analyst (Power BI)

Role Overview

The Management Accounting Analyst (Power BI) supports management and financial reporting through advanced data analysis and visualization. The role focuses on building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, developing financial data models, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and delivering accurate, insight-driven reports to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support management and financial reporting

  • Use Power Query and DAX to automate reporting processes and improve efficiency

  • Build and maintain robust financial data models for analysis and presentation

  • Work with finance and operational data sourced from multiple systems

  • Enhance and refine existing reports in line with evolving business requirements

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes

  • Conduct financial performance analysis by customer, business unit, and product

  • Identify key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across financial systems, BI outputs, and management reports

  • Prepare accurate and well-aligned management and executive-level presentations

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance and Accounting, or a related field
    OR

  • Part qualification in a professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent

Experience

  • Hands-on experience using Power BI for financial and management reporting

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Power Query and DAX

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong PowerPoint skills with experience preparing management and executive-level presentations

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
