Role Overview

We are seeking a positive, well-engaged, disciplined, and results-driven Business Development Executive to support business growth within the software development industry.

The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, coordinating sales initiatives, preparing business proposals, and supporting revenue growth through effective customer engagement and solution-based selling. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the software development market.
  • Manage and coordinate sales initiatives to attract new clients and business partnerships.
  • Perform regular sales calls, client meetings, and follow-ups with prospects and existing customers.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer acquisition and support business revenue growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technology developments, competitor activity, and pricing.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Sustain existing client relationships through upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable software solutions or services.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure long-term business engagement.
  • Provide professional support throughout the sales and client onboarding process.

Proposal, Negotiation & Coordination

  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and contracts to support new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate with clients to secure suitable commercial terms and business agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal technical and project teams to ensure client requirements are clearly understood.
  • Follow up on proposals and leads to support successful conversions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communication, and pipeline updates.

Market Awareness & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the software industry.
  • Provide regular sales updates, reports, and market feedback to management.
  • Support planning and execution of sales strategies based on market insights.
  • Recommend new service opportunities or improvements based on client feedback.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
  • Experience in the software development, IT services, SaaS, or technology solutions industry will be an added advantage.
  • Diploma or professional qualification in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets or business development objectives.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prepare proposals and present solutions professionally.
  • Good understanding of technology trends and software services will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, strong discipline, and willingness to work toward targets.
  • A valid driving license will be an added advantage.
