Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to lead the integration of cutting-edge AI capabilities into a large-scale enterprise banking environment. This role will be responsible for connecting modern AI platforms with legacy banking systems, evaluating third-party AI solutions, industrializing internal AI innovations, and ensuring that all deployments meet the highest standards of security, resilience, performance, and compliance. The ideal candidate will combine deep enterprise architecture expertise with strong knowledge of AI technologies, cloud-native services, and mission-critical system integrations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design enterprise integration architectures connecting AI platforms hosted on cloud environments with core banking applications and legacy systems.
  • Act as the technical authority for third-party AI vendors by reviewing API specifications, deployment requirements, security models, and integration standards.
  • Architect API-driven and event-based integration frameworks to enable real-time communication between banking applications and AI services.
  • Collaborate with AI and Machine Learning teams to convert successful internal research projects into scalable, production-grade solutions.
  • Lead the containerization and deployment of AI applications to support operational scalability and maintainability.
  • Manage hybrid runtime environments that bridge on-premise banking infrastructure with cloud platforms.
  • Ensure all AI implementations comply with enterprise security requirements, including encryption, authentication, authorization, and data privacy standards.
  • Design resilient architectures with failover capabilities, circuit breakers, and business continuity mechanisms.
  • Optimize end-to-end performance and response times for customer-facing AI applications.
  • Establish architecture standards, integration governance frameworks, and enterprise best practices for AI adoption.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend scalable solutions aligned with long-term business objectives.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline recognized by the University Grants Commission.
  • 8+ years of experience in Software Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Senior Engineering roles.
  • 4+ years of experience in AI, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or related technology functions.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise integrations within Banking, Telecommunications, Insurance, or similarly complex environments.
  • Mandatory experience working with hybrid architectures that integrate cloud services with on-premise and legacy platforms.
  • Expert knowledge of API technologies, including REST, SOAP, gRPC, API Gateways, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Strong experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event-driven architectures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks, OAuth2, OIDC, authentication, authorization, and secure API design.
  • Experience reviewing and governing third-party software vendors and solution providers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor engagement skills.
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with practical, business-focused solution delivery.
