About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive / Junior Accounts Executive to join its Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll activities, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the computerized accounting system.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare monthly payroll and calculate sales commissions.
• Process local and foreign supplier payments in a timely manner.
• Record cash and cheque collections accurately within the accounting system.
• Liaise with banks, suppliers, customers, auditors, and other stakeholders as required.
• Support tax-related activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Partly qualified in AAT, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or a similar professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting capacity.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience working with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Age below 35 years.
