About the Role

Our client is seeking a forward-thinking and results-oriented Assistant Manager – IT & AI Projects to lead the development and delivery of AI-driven, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. This role will be instrumental in bridging business requirements with technology solutions to improve operational efficiency, enhance decision-making, and create measurable business value.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and experience in implementing innovative digital solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI, automation, and digital transformation projects from business requirement gathering through design, development, testing, implementation, and adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, controls, and business decision-making through technology.
• Design and implement AI-enabled solutions, including workflow automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent applications.
• Integrate digital solutions with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and ERP systems.
• Ensure reliable data integration and seamless information flow across systems and applications.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders on project timelines, testing activities, issue resolution, user training, and documentation.
• Drive adoption of digital solutions and ensure measurable business outcomes are achieved.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on key initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement and innovation efforts across the organization.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in IT, software development, digital transformation, or related areas.
• Proven experience delivering AI, machine learning, automation, or digital solutions within an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, ERP systems, and data integration technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technology projects from concept through implementation and user adoption.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple business functions and teams.
