Role Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven International Business Development Manager to lead expansion into global markets with a strong focus on the EU & USA regions. This role focuses on market entry strategy, client acquisition, private label business development, and building long-term international partnerships within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • International Market Expansion
    Develop and execute strategies for EU & USA market entry and business growth
    Identify new international opportunities and build sustainable sales channels
    Expand market presence across retail, distribution, and wellness sectors
  • Business Development & Client Acquisition
    Identify and onboard international clients including retailers, importers, distributors, and private label buyers
    Develop a strong pipeline of export business opportunities
    Manage end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
  • Private Label & Product Commercialization
    Present private label capabilities including product range, packaging, and customization options
    Coordinate sampling, pricing proposals, and commercial negotiations
    Secure long-term private label contracts with overseas clients
  • Compliance & Export Operations
    Ensure alignment with international regulations, quality standards, and export requirements
    Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction
  • Market Intelligence & Relationship Management
    Monitor global market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences
    Build strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
    Represent the company at international trade fairs, expos, and B2B networking events
  • Performance Management
    Track sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue targets
    Provide regular market insights and business development reports to leadership

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in FMCG export sales, preferably in EU & USA markets
  • Strong experience in private label business development
  • Experience in tea products / beverages / wellness FMCG is highly preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in international business development and export sales
  • Existing network of retailers, distributors, and importers is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of international compliance and export procedures
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to independently build new markets from the ground up
  • Strong commercial acumen and relationship management skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
