Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Handler to manage end-to-end claims processes with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder communication. This role involves handling claims from lodgement to resolution, ensuring SLA adherence, and delivering high-quality service within a fast-paced financial services environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Claims Management
Manage end-to-end claims lifecycle including lodgement, documentation, and resolution
Ensure all claims are processed accurately within defined SLA timelines
Maintain updated and accurate records in CRM systems - Follow-ups & Coordination
Proactively track claims and conduct regular follow-ups with insurers
Coordinate with third parties such as assessors and repairers
Escalate delayed or complex claims in a timely manner - Stakeholder Management
Liaise with brokers to provide timely updates and support
Coordinate with insurers to ensure smooth claim processing
Respond to client queries (via brokers) with clear and professional communication - Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and deliver accurate claims reports within deadlines
Analyze claim trends, bottlenecks, and performance gaps
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems - Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure adherence to internal policies and insurer requirements
Maintain high accuracy in claims documentation and CRM updates
Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements - Self-Development
Participate in training programs and continuous learning initiatives
Build knowledge in insurance products and claims processes
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in claims handling, insurance, or broking roles
- Exposure to international insurance processes (e.g., Australian insurance) is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines effectively
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
