Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and collections management. This role is critical in supporting strategic financial decisions, ensuring healthy cash flow, and maintaining the organizations financial stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Collections Management
• Follow up with customers through calls, emails, and visits to ensure timely invoice payments.
• Maintain a structured and proactive collection schedule for due and overdue accounts.
• Negotiate payment plans where applicable and ensure adherence.
• Customer Account Reconciliation
• Reconcile customer accounts regularly to maintain accurate receivables.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes in coordination with sales and billing teams.
• Reporting
• Prepare weekly and monthly AR aging reports, collection status, and cash flow forecasts.
• Highlight critical overdue cases and provide recommendations to management.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Ensure all collection activities are accurately documented in ERP/CRM systems.
• Adhere to credit policies and escalate exceptions or risks promptly.
• Coordination
• Liaise with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve invoice or delivery issues impacting payments.
• Coordinate with the legal team on escalated recovery cases when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control.
• Prior experience in trading, manufacturing, or FMCG industry preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic & English is an added advantage, especially for GCC markets.
