Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager Development & Projects to lead and oversee the execution of critical IT initiatives across our poultry operations. The role involves managing cross-functional technology projects, including ERP systems, automation tools, and digital infrastructure, with a primary focus on Sage 300 ERP implementation and optimization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background and proven project leadership experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or food production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of IT projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
  • Define and document project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee successful implementation, customization, and support of Sage 300 ERP across finance, inventory, procurement, and production departments.
  • Collaborate with department heads (Production, Supply Chain, Finance, HR) to gather user requirements and manage expectations.
  • Drive digital transformation projects involving ERP systems, farm management software, and reporting dashboards.
  • Lead system integrations across Sage 300, warehouse management, payroll, and other operational tools.
  • Monitor and manage project risks, ensuring timely reporting on performance, budget utilization, and milestone achievements.
  • Direct internal IT teams and third-party vendors, promoting best practices in IT governance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between IT and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and business operations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Project completion rate: 90% of projects delivered by original deadlines.
  • Budget adherence: 95% of projects delivered within approved budgets.
  • System integration accuracy: 98% data accuracy across systems integrated with Sage 300.

  • System uptime: Maintain monthly IT downtime below 1%.

    ssue resolution: Escalated project issues resolved within 3 days on average.
  • Scope stability: Less than 10% of project scope changes post-approval.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within poultry, agriculture, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Sage 300 ERP (implementation, customization, integration).
  • Strong proficiency in ERP project management, including financials, inventory, procurement, and production modules.
  • Experience with project tracking tools and IT infrastructure management.

  • Familiarity with networking and cloud-based solutions.
