About the Role

The client is seeking a Licensed Architect to support commercial architectural projects through all phases of development, from conceptual design through construction administration. This role is ideal for an architect who combines strong technical expertise with project coordination and client-facing experience.

The Architect I will independently support architectural assignments, including schematic design, design development, construction documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration activities. This individual will collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in conceptual design and project development initiatives
• Support projects through schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration phases
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, plans, and project specifications
• Assist with project planning, occupancy studies, and design coordination efforts
• Support consultant coordination, project communication, and technical problem-solving activities
• Conduct site visits and support construction administration activities
• Maintain project schedules, documentation quality, and coordination standards
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project execution and technical discussions

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Architecture required
• Active Architectural License required
• Minimum of 3–5 years of direct architectural experience
• Experience supporting commercial architectural projects
• Strong architectural design and technical coordination experience
• Strong communication, consultant coordination, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Team-oriented and collaborative mindset

Required Technical Skills

• Revit
• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial architecture experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting construction administration activities
• Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong technical detailing and documentation experience
• Client-facing and project coordination experience preferred
