Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who shares our commitment to excellence. You will work closely with our development team to create and maintain our industry-leading SaaS platform. Your focus will be on writing clean, efficient code, designing robust architectures, and ensuring that our solutions are built to last—without accumulating technical debt. Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality software design and architecture by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes.

  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.

  • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.

  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.

  • Review and debug code to ensure the software is of the highest quality.

  • Document development phases and monitor systems.

  • Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced Backend Developer, with a track record in Django web framework.

  • Knowledge in Python 3, and familiarity with Django 4.2 or later web framework.

  • Experience with Postgres, including strong knowledge in PostgreSQL management in AWS, troubleshooting, and performance improvement.

  • Can read/review/optimize/debug large code bases and give suggestions how to improve/refactor. By following good practices of software engineering.

  • Proficiency in using code versioning tools, such as Git.

  • Familiarity with RESTful API, and RPC services.

  • Proficient understanding of software development methodologies.

  • Good communication skills in English, a team-oriented mindset, and a strong work ethic.

Good knowledge to have:

  • Foundational understanding of linear algebra, including matrix operations and transformations, alongside basic proficiency in statistics, probability, and experience utilizing Python numerical libraries like Numpy, Matplotlib, Open3D, Pytorch and Scipy.

  • Have experience at using cloud services such as AWS, Azure or GCP

  • Have experience in DevOps such as monitoring database and web server performance, automating deployments and setting automatic alarms, container and CICD.
