Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the testing process for our AI-driven platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and executing detailed test plans, documenting results, and working closely with the development team to resolve issues. This role requires someone with exceptional attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to anticipate edge cases and potential failures. You will play a critical role in ensuring our platform remains robust, scalable, and user-friendly for our global customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct detailed test cases based on user requirements and system specifications.
• Document testing results and link them directly to the corresponding test cases for traceability.
• Retest scenarios across multiple environments when issues are reported to ensure consistency.
• Clarify user requirements and flag any unclear or flawed designs that prevent effective testing.
• Identify and test edge cases where the system could potentially break or fail.
• Classify bugs and issues based on their severity and potential business impact.
• Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Maintain organized and thorough documentation of testing processes and findings.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in QA for production systems, preferably for SaaS or tech platforms.
• Experience in writing technical documentation, such as engineering reports and test plans.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies and issues.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in using tools like Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, and spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, and Miro.
• A team-oriented mindset and a proactive work ethic.
• Open-minded and eager to learn new processes and technologies.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how to test API endpoints.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Postman, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
• Foundational knowledge of Python or JavaScript for creating automated tests.
• Proficiency in using Chrome Developer Tools/Inspector Mode for debugging.
• Experience with load testing and performance testing for web-based applications.
