Insolvency Intermediate

Position Overview:

As an Insolvency Intermediate, you will play a crucial role in assisting senior team members with managing and executing insolvency and restructuring projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial situation, gather relevant information, and provide recommendations for the best course of action. This is a fast-paced and challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement insolvency and restructuring strategies for clients

- Conduct financial analysis and review of company records to assess the financial health and viability of businesses

- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients

- Assist with the preparation of legal documents and court filings related to insolvency cases

- Communicate with stakeholders, including creditors and legal counsel, to provide updates and gather information

- Monitor and track progress of insolvency cases and provide regular updates to senior team members

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to insolvency and restructuring

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- CPA or CA designation is preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insolvency and restructuring, preferably in a consulting or professional services firm

- Strong understanding of insolvency laws and regulations

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
