Insolvency Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insolvency Supervisor to join our client on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of insolvency administrators, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of insolvency administrators, providing guidance, support, and training as needed

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the insolvency department, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines

- Review and approve insolvency case files, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders

- Prepare and present reports on the progress of insolvency cases to senior management

- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness

- Stay up-to-date with changes in insolvency laws and regulations, and ensure compliance within the team

- Assist with the recruitment and training of new team members as needed

- Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to client service

- Act as a point of contact for any escalated client or stakeholder inquiries or issues

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insolvency, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

- Strong knowledge of insolvency laws and regulations

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insolvency software programs

- Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CIRP) is an asset
