MAIN DUTIES:

- Mainly manage the procurement activities and develop logistics solution for transportation services (Bulk trucks, barge, flat trucks, Bulk vessel,)
- Occasionally support and handle procurement for logistics operation services (Bulk material handling, Stevedore, equipment/machine rental for bulk material movement)
- Negotiate and manage contract terms and conditions to ensure the best interest for the company
- Ensuring compliance with all related laws and regulations
- Analyze and evaluate supplier performance to maintain capable supplier base for the operation
- Analyze the related procurement data to define possible initiatives for cost saving and scope optimization
- Manage and complete assigned reports from Management
- Develop new capable suppliers and maintaining relationship with current supplier to ensure the competitiveness and advantages of procurement
- Coordinate with other departments/functions to get the work done in a supportive and effective way

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- Good command of English and Vietnamese

2. Relevant Experience
- Experience in a previous procurement role (sourcing, operations) with exposure to Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards
- Experience acquired in a MNC, especially in Construction/Building Material Industry

- Own massive knowledge and experience in dealing with all types of bulk transportation for both Road-way and River way/Sea-way, is a PLUS

- Demonstrated performance in working within cross-functional teams, with requisite drive and energy to ensure that a challenging benefits and capability building agenda is successfully delivered
- Integrity and high commitment
- Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate at cross-function in both English and Vietnamese language
- Effective time management, planning and organization skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguities, conflicts and adversarial relationships
- Good negotiation skills
- Proven ability in analysis and interpretation of data
