Mechanical Estimator

Job Description

In this role you work as a estimating Mechanical Engineer doing the Takeoff for the Duct & Pipe (HVAC) / Plumbing with all accessories and estimate the jobs per company extension and software. This will be an opportunity to work with a leading Mechanical Contractor in the Chicago, IL, USA area. Candidates should expect to be fully integrated with the US company, working with their team on a daily basis.

Candidates for this position are expected to work in office at our location in Cairo, Egypt.

Working hours will be from 4PM-1AM Egypt time as the candidate will be working directly with the US company.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering Degree (or similar)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience with Mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings (HVAC, Plumbing)
• Knowledgeable about duct and pipe material Connection and Accessories
• Strong Excel skills (can create worksheets with formulas)
• Experience in Takeoff software
