We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer is required to provide hands-on support for network, server, and end-user environments, including onsite operational support.
Contractor Role - Initial 24 months plus potential extensions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote support for IT infrastructure
- Manage servers, networks, and system environments
- Monitor system health and performance
- Troubleshoot hardware, network, and system issues
- Support implementation of infrastructure upgrades and changes
- Ensure security and patching compliance
- Support end-user and business operational systems
- Participate in incident response and resolution
Technical Skills
- Windows Server administration
- Networking (LAN/WAN, switching, firewalls)
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V)
- Microsoft 365 / Azure environments (desirable)
- Strong troubleshooting capability
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills (user-facing role)
- Ability to work onsite as required
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
