Senior End User Technologies Engineer (contract 12 months)

Senior End User Technologies Engineer will be responsible for the global strategic development of the end user technology environment, defining and implementing standards/policies, and managing key global services for end user devices.

The candidate will work within the team, contributing to shared goals and responsibilities as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain key services at an operational excellence level as per agreed KPIs.

Support device platform standards for Windows, Apple MAC, and Apple iOS using Intune/Azure AD (transitioning from SCCM/Active Directory), Jamf (vendor-managed), OneDrive for Business, and Windows 365.

Provide vendor management for partners like Microsoft Premier Support and others.

Provide escalation support for the Global Service Desk on end user technology services.

Prepare high-quality professional documentation. Deliver technical training, mentoring, and coaching for Service Desk and Global IT Operations.

Deploy innovative solutions and improve existing ones. Define new standards and integrate new businesses into the organisations standards.

Support the transition to Intune (Azure AD Joined) with Windows Autopilot by improving governance, reporting, and related processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Essential Skills:

5 or more years of experience required

Device management using Intune and Azure AD (patch management, software distribution, OS deployment, compliance, configuration, reporting).

Scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell.

Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows client platforms in enterprise environments.

Desirable Skills:

Basic knowledge of Active Directory Group Policies and SCCM.

Ability to work independently and in team settings.

Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Familiarity with ITIL-compliant environments.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role with hybrid working options available.
