About the Role

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Contract Account Manager to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of engineering systems, exceeding client expectations, and maintaining high standards in service delivery. Sites are mainly in Dublin, but some nationwide. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering System Management Oversee the maintenance and operation of critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and other essential infrastructure.
  • Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and service agreements are fulfilled.
  • Project & Contract Management Oversee planned and reactive maintenance tasks, raise purchase orders, manage asset registers, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • SLA Compliance & Performance Monitoring Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • On-Site Client Engagement Attend client meetings and conduct site visits to assess performance and address any concerns.
  • Procurement & Commercial Awareness Experience in tendering, sourcing, and procurement, identifying commercial opportunities with new and existing clients service.
  • People & Contractor Management Provide leadership, training, and development for the facilities team while managing external contractors, ensuring compliance with insurance and tax requirements.
  • Technical & Compliance Oversight Maintain documentation, reports, and quotations in line with ISO9001:2015 standards while ensuring a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience: At least five years in a similar role within a facilities or maintenance environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in electrical, mechanical, and building services systems, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot maintenance processes.
  • Project & People Management: Proven experience in overseeing maintenance projects, managing teams, and leading external contractors.
  • IT Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Problem Solving & Communication: Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Compliance & Safety Focus: A keen focus on safety, service delivery, and ensuring adherence to ISO9001:2015 standards.
  • Driving License: A full, clean driving license is required for on-site visits and client meetings.
