Enterprise Architect (Contract)

Location: Onsite Dublin 1
Duration: Full-time, long-term contract (initial 12 months, with extension potential)

Daily Rate: Competitive (DOE)Overview:We are recruiting for a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the design and development of hybrid cloud infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives for a public sector organisation. This is a strategic, hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement hybrid cloud platforms (on-prem & cloud)
• Lead architecture planning for Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online
• Provide strategic input on digital transformation and innovation
• Liaise with technology vendors and internal stakeholders
• Advise on enterprise storage, backup, and virtualisation strategies
• Identify and implement enhancements to IT architecture and services

Required Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in an Enterprise Architect or similar senior IT role
• Proven experience with:
  • Microsoft enterprise technologies (Exchange, AD, Group Policy)
  • VMware virtualisation (vSphere, ESXi)
  • Enterprise storage and backup systems
  • Cloud-based architecture and hybrid environments
  • Advising on emerging technologies and digital strategy

Desirable:

• Enterprise Architecture or Storage certifications
• ITIL or equivalent service delivery qualification
