We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Head of Sales (APAC & Middle East) for an international maritime technology solutions provider that supports enterprise clients across multiple sectors with compliance, digitalisation, and operational efficiency tools. As part of their accelerated regional expansion, they are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales (APAC & Middle East) to lead commercial growth, strengthen partnerships, and steer the regional sales organisation.

This is a high-impact role overseeing revenue performance and business development across diverse markets in Asia and the Middle East. As the Head of Sales, you will lead a regional team, manage external partners, shape go-to-market strategies, and represent the organisation at key industry events to deepen customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a multicultural sales team across APAC & Middle East, including external partners and sales representatives.
  • Strengthen the companys market presence through proactive business development and brand-building initiatives.
  • Attend and represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and networking events.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Build strong client relationships through effective communication, solution-based selling, and long-term engagement.
  • Monitor market developments, competitive activity, client trends, and new opportunities across the region.
  • Collaborate with internal product, technical, and marketing teams to support roll-out of new offerings.
  • Maintain disciplined use of CRM tools and ensure accurate reporting of sales activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of maritime commercial experience.
  • Strong track record in B2B sales, enterprise solutions, or technology-driven services.
  • Experience leading sales teams or managing partners/distributors across multiple countries.
  • Proven ability to grow revenue in diverse APAC and Middle Eastern markets.
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability.
  • Strong discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM utilisation.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required (50%).
