The Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Project Engineer to join our Energy Systems division. You will be the technical lead for the planning and execution of complex power infrastructure projects across Southeast Asia. Acting as the bridge between sales, engineering, and the end customer, you will ensure high-stakes energy solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to international standards.
Core Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Execution: Lead project milestones from contract award to site handover, ensuring all technical and timeline requirements are met.
- Technical Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Quality) and external parties (Main Contractors, Consultants, and Vendors).
- Master Scheduling: Develop and monitor master project schedules, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Field Leadership: Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with clients/distributors and coordinate on-site testing and commissioning.
- Pre-Sales & Feasibility: Advise on project feasibility studies and assist in generating project cost estimations for large-scale industrial solutions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Manage technical submittals, M&E drawings, and ensuring all project documentation is endorsed for delivery.
- Site Management: Attend site meetings with consultants/contractors and oversee subcontractor work to ensure installation meets strict safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (2-3 years of experience) OR Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (5-7 years of experience).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting M&E drawings.
- Prior experience with backup power systems, control panels, or energy generation equipment is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with international power generation standards and electrical codes.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust with high-level stakeholders and external consultants.
