We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven CPP Tanker Shipbroker for one of our international shipping clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Your primary duties will include but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and target potential clients within the CPP shipping sector, leveraging our startup's established brand name and industry reputation.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients, understanding their shipping requirements and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and advice to optimize their shipping operations.
Chartering and Negotiation:
- Source suitable vessels for transporting CPP, negotiating charter terms and conditions with ship owners on behalf of our clients.
- Utilize our startup's advanced brokerage platform and market intelligence tools to secure competitive rates and favorable terms for our clients.
- Coordinate charter parties and contracts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and research to identify opportunities and trends within the CPP in the shipping sector.
- Develop innovative strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and drive business growth for the company.
- Provide regular market updates and insights to clients and internal stakeholders, guiding decision-making processes.
Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of shipping operations, from vessel nomination to delivery.
- Proactively address any operational issues or challenges that may arise, ensuring minimal disruptions to client service.
- Monitor vessel movements and performance, providing real-time updates and status reports to clients as required.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains, driving innovation and excellence in our service delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices, incorporating new technologies and approaches to stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Having some experience in shipbroking or chartering within the CPP sector will have an advantage.
- Strong client acquisition and relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong team working ethic and desire to succeed.
