About the job Executive, Third Party Management

We are looking for an Executive(Third-Party Management) for one of our international shipowner client. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Technical Department on matters related to the management of vessels with Third-Party Ship Managers. This position will assist the Third-Party Management Team in ensuring the safe management of vessels and their compliance. He/she should have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar function.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing monthly OPEX funding for vessels under Third-Party Management, subject to final review before submission to Management.
  • Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and other reports for review by the General Manager (Technical).
  • Assist in following up and closing any open items discussed in monthly meetings with Manager (Third-Party Management).
  • Assist in preparing the inspection schedule of vessels under Third-Party Management, supervised by the Superintendent.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports, including month-end reports, pre-takeover costs, daily running costs, project costs, dry-dock costs, Lub Oil (L.O.) consumption, and Class Survey Status, in collaboration with the Manager and Finance Cost Control team.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to develop a yearly inspection plan for timely vessel inspections.
  • Maintain document control of the SMA for vessels placed under Third-Party Management.
  • Provide support in planning, arranging, and coordinating activities for the smooth transfer of company owned vessels to Management.
  • Assist in planning, arranging, and coordinating activities for smooth ownership transfer flag change of newly taken-over vessels to Third Party.
  • Support in monitoring vessel schedules to arrange Technical and Operational inspections of vessels.
  • Generate Purchase Orders (P/O) for vessels
  • Assist in scheduling monthly meetings with Third-Party Managers and coordinate the receipt of presentation files for review by the concerned team before the meeting.
  • Monitor timely submission of invoices from vendors
  • Any other assignments given by the Superiors.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in the shipping industry or 1 year of sailing experience onboard vessel.
  • Good IT knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Email etiquette
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well under tight deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Third-Party vessel management processes.
