Senior/Sales Engineer (Marine)


We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Sales Engineer with good marine industry experience to join for a well-established boutique marine engineering solutions firm. The ideal candidate would have a technical background and a strong network of contacts, including but not limited to Fleet Managers, Performance Managers, and Technical Managers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior/ Sales Engineer (Marine), you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and supporting customers in the marine and offshore industry. Your main duties include but not limited to the below:

Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify and contact prospective shipowners, operators, and marine engineering firms.
  • Drive and secure orders and grow the customer base across the region.
  • Promote the companys product to potential clients.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Technical Consulting & Presentations:

  • Deliver good technical presentations to showcase product value and benefits.
  • Advise and product technical advice on technical retrofits and system integration.
  • Work closely with internal engineering and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication, addressing customer inquiries, technical concerns and service delivery.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering ((Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).
  • Having work experience in technical sales to shipowners, operators, or the marine industry will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of marine equipment, ship operations, and engineering solutions.
  • Proven track record in B2B technical sales and business development.
  • Results-driven with the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Ability to work independently and results driven.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
