Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer for one of our global shipping clients. This role will be responsible for supporting enterprise network operations across multiple locations, ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance across both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, multi-tasking and good communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support hybrid infrastructure environments including Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Azure Cloud
  • Monitor system and network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to maintain reliability and uptime
  • Design and implement scalable and secure network architectures for regional and remote offices
  • Manage routing and switching infrastructure (Cisco environment preferred)
  • Configure and maintain firewall, VPN, and SD-WAN solutions
  • Support DNS and DHCP services across enterprise environments
  • Configure and maintain wireless networking solutions (Ruckus) and wireless controllers
  • Support cloud networking initiatives within Azure environments
  • Lead network setup and deployment activities for new office and infrastructure projects (Day Zero)
  • Troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues across multiple sites
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
  • Perform security patching, Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Test (VAPT), and regular infrastructure assessments
  • Support IT audits, security assessments, and disaster recovery exercises
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance and 24x7 on-call support rotation when required
  • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure operational stability and compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • CCNA or CCNP certification preferred
  • Microsoft Azure certification (AZ-104 or equivalent) is advantageous
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure support
  • Strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, VPN, and SD-WAN technologies
  • Experience managing DNS, DHCP, and wireless network environments
  • Familiarity with firewall technologies and network security best practices
  • Exposure to Azure cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure environments
  • Experience supporting multi-site or regional office deployments
  • Knowledge of wireless controller technologies and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions
  • Experience with infrastructure rollout or greenfield deployment projects is advantageous
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently in a production environment
