The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to lead on-site technical operations for our critical power infrastructure projects across the region. You will be the technical lead for complex commissioning, diagnostic, and maintenance activities, ensuring our energy solutions operate at peak performance for our global clients. Beyond technical execution, you will play a vital role in mentoring junior engineers and elevating the service standards of our regional distributor network.

Core Responsibilities

  • On-Site Technical Leadership: Lead the commissioning, site acceptance testing (SAT), and diagnostic troubleshooting of large-scale power systems.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate complex equipment failures (including high-performance engines and control systems) and recommend long-term technical solutions.
  • Stakeholder Advisory: Provide high-level technical support and expert advice to end-customers, dealers, and regional distributors to resolve critical service issues.
  • Training & Mentorship: Supervise and coach junior service engineers to enhance their technical competency. Design and deliver specialized technical training for the distributor network.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in aftermarket processes and maintain meticulous documentation, including detailed service reports and diagnostic logs.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all field activities are performed in strict accordance with international safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Special Projects Support: Assist in factory testing for high-specification or customized energy projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in field service, specifically with power generation, industrial engines, or heavy energy infrastructure.
  • Technical Mastery:
    • Deep expertise in commissioning, repairing, and maintaining mission-critical power equipment.
    • Proven ability to diagnose complex electrical and mechanical failures under pressure.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership qualities with a passion for training and developing others. Excellent communication skills for client-facing advisory roles.
