Regional Sales Manager Critical Care

Verathon® is seeking a UK Regional Sales Manager for Critical Care South to join our UK
Commercial Team. This high-impact role requires a proven leader to drive sales performance,
manage a high-performing team, and achieve ambitious sales quotas while ensuring alignment
with company goals.
Responsibilities
Lead Sales Initiatives: Oversee and drive sales strategies for the Critical Care South region,
ensuring alignment with business objectives and quota attainment.
Report to the Country Manager: Collaborate with the UK&I Country Manager to develop and
implement strategic plans.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales team. Ensure team members are
engaged, consistently achieving/exceeding targets, and contributing to organizational success.
Strategic Business Planning: Align regional business plans with overall company strategy,
product lifecycle, and resourcing needs.
Sales Process Execution: Ensure excellent execution of the sales process to hit or exceed
targets, with a sharp focus on quota management.
Strategic Engagements: Identify and develop key relationships with purchasing bodies and key
stakeholders.
Local Leadership: Serve as part of the local leadership teamset strategy, targets, budget, and
collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Compliance and Ethics: Uphold Verathons Mission, Objectives, Ropers Code of Ethics, and
compliance initiatives.
Performance Metrics: Roll out and maintain management systems to track and drive team
performance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelors degree in a related discipline.
5+ years of sales experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or capital
equipment.
Sales management experience essential. Strong proficiency with Salesforce.com for pipeline management, reporting, and sales
strategy execution.
Expertise in driving commercial excellence and pipeline management best practices.
Proven ability to coach and develop sales teams using performance plans.
Willingness to travel extensively across the UK (overnight stays required).
Experience with U.S.-based manufacturing companies preferred.
Collaborative leadership style, building team spirit and driving alignment.
Excellent problem-solving across functions and value streams.
Highly adaptable, able to meet urgent deadlines under pressure.
Outstanding communication skills, including presenting complex data clearly.
Proven ability to build trust and manage change across diverse teams.
