About the job VP - Global Investor Relations
Key responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of Quarterly Earnings / Annual Meeting/ Investor Calls including the CEO/CFO/executive script, press release drafting, financial modeling, conference call Q&A preparation, and transcript approval
- Manage investor-related materials, working closely with the CFO, financial reporting, and accounting on public disclosure matters including the 10K and proxy.
- Maintain and develop presentations and related scripts for investors, investor conferences, road shows, corporate communications, and other investor-related activities
- Understand the company's shareholder mix and associated dynamics
- Work with the equity capital markets team and legal counsel to prepare and coordinate the execution of NDAs, DDQs and other legal and transaction documentation
- Provide timely investment and performance information and analysis to internal and external stakeholders
- Strategize the investor marketing strategy, working alongside Marketing team members to plan for investor engagement events, communications, and elevate investor / analyst audience
- Work closely with marketing to create company collateral purposed for investor/analyst audiences as well as internal use
- Regular investor meetings/phone calls, responding to investor inquiries, analyst estimates
- Ad Hoc presentations for CEO, CFO and VPs as needed, including analyst research summaries
- Manage the Company share buyback program
- Building strong relationships with external stakeholders including rating agencies, investors, and research analyst as well as providing a feedback loop to internal partners
- Providing senior management with feedback related to discussions with the investment community, commentary regarding events within the market and industry
- Serve as the company's information conduit and point of contact to the investor community
Professional experience/qualifications
- Proven capability to quickly grasp and build the story, working alongside the CEO and CFO to bring this story to life for the investor and analyst community
- Exceptional writing skills an absolute must
- Direct, extensive experience working with the CEO and CFO to frame the company financial story and corporate highlights to external and internal audiences (investors, Board, internal leaders, etc)
- Heavy, end-to-end experience leading the quarterly earnings process which includes the consolidation of business unit material in preparation for the presentation materials for the Quarterly Earnings calls
- Proven ability to develop and implement the strategy and execution of the investor targeting program
- Prior responsibility for day-to-day management of analyst and investor inquiries, serving as the key point of contact for the investment community
- Seasoned professional - experience should include success in a period of growth and/or transition
- Professional / executive presence - an ability to bridge cultural boundaries and norms to overcome barriers and improve outcomes on a global and virtual stage, demonstrating courage, an approachable style, and inspiring confidence both verbally and in writing with the ability to translate and communicate complex topics in a variety of forums
- Experience monitoring industry trends / competitor tracking
- Strong bias towards challenging the standard thinking with new ideas, new approaches, and new solutions
- Ability to execute multiple projects and priorities, deliver against established deadlines and to work under tight time constraints, working across departments in a global, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain positive work relationships with staff at all levels across the organization and relevant stakeholders (i.e. Analysts, Investors, Accounting/Finance, Marketing, Legal, etc)
- Excellent communicator with business acumen and the ability to consistently meet or exceed project deadlines

- Motivating; knows how to influence and enable others, both internally and externally

Education & experience
- 15+ years of relevant experience in Investor Relations
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, graduate degree a plus; MBA preferred
Compensation
An attractive compensation package including salary, bonus, and stock incentives will be structured commensurate with experience.
