About the job Vice President, Head of Travel, Hospitality & Leisure
Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished business leader to lead our Travel, Hospitality & Leisure practice. This executive will own the vertical's growth strategy, strategic client relationships, commercial performance, and delivery outcomes.
The role combines industry leadership, consultative selling, account expansion, solution development, and executive oversight of AI, data, analytics, and digital transformation programs.
The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to C suite leaders across hotels and resorts, airlines, travel platforms, loyalty businesses, and adjacent leisure segments. They will translate industry priorities into measurable transformation programs and ensure solutions progress from strategy through implementation, adoption, and business value realization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Travel, Hospitality & Leisure vertical strategy, operating plan, revenue growth, gross margin, pipeline, and overall P&L performance.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with C suite and senior business executives, positioning the organization as a strategic transformation partner.
- Expand priority accounts by identifying unmet needs, developing account growth plans, originating opportunities, and broadening relationships across functions, geographies, and service lines.
- Lead complex pursuits from opportunity qualification through solution development, executive presentations, commercial structuring, negotiation, and closure.
- Shape industry specific AI, data, analytics, and digital solutions in partnership with consulting, engineering, product, cloud, and delivery teams.
- Provide executive sponsorship for major client engagements, maintaining accountability for scope, quality, financial performance, adoption, value realization, and client satisfaction.
- Develop scalable offerings and intellectual property addressing areas such as revenue management, demand forecasting, pricing, inventory optimization, loyalty, personalization, customer 360, marketing analytics, workforce management, property operations, and self service analytics.
- Recruit, coach, and lead a high performing team of account, consulting, solution, and delivery professionals.
- Build the organization's external market presence through industry forums, executive roundtables, partnerships, publications, and thought leadership.
- Monitor market, competitor, and technology trends and translate them into differentiated offerings and go to market priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 15 or more years of progressive experience in consulting, technology services, analytics, digital transformation, or a related field, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Deep Travel, Hospitality & Leisure industry expertise, with direct experience serving major hospitality, airline, travel, or leisure organizations.
- Demonstrated ownership of a meaningful services portfolio, business unit, or P&L, with a record of profitable growth.
- Proven success growing strategic accounts and closing complex, multi stakeholder transformation engagements.
- Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to advise C suite clients.
- Ability to connect business priorities with AI, data, analytics, cloud, and digital transformation solutions.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams across sales, consulting, solutioning, delivery, engineering, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree required. An advanced degree is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Established senior executive relationships across leading hospitality, airline, travel technology, loyalty, or leisure organizations.
- Experience scaling an industry practice and developing a repeatable go to market strategy.
- Track record of leading large AI and analytics programs from strategy and proof of concept through production deployment, adoption, and value realization.
- Experience with revenue management, forecasting, pricing, inventory optimization, loyalty, personalization, customer 360, marketing effectiveness, property operations, or self service analytics.
- Industry thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, executive forums, or ecosystem partnerships.
